Singapore NightlifeSingapore Nightlife – Boat Quay and Clark Quay is Singapore’s entertainment and night life precinct. Geyland is a red light district in Singapore. Something to take note so as not to spoil the evening is the strict dress code for some of the clubs and discotheques. Dress code for such places depends on the crowd it is targeting. Some insist on formal dressing only. And some have a minimum age entry, though it may vary at different clubs. The minimum age for drinking in is 18 years old.

Hooters is known as the ultimate Fun place to be in Singapore where dining and entertainment goes hand in hand.

2) Zouk

This is the most popular club in Singapore and can be compared to some of the best clubs in Europe. Zouk offers Techno, House and Hip Hop music to a young crowd. This venue also hosts the annual ZoukOut, South East Asia’s largest and most notable dance music festival.

Singapore's best-known jazz joint. It is a popular haunt for expatriates. The infamous trader, Nick Leeson, who brought down England's Barings Bank, used to frequent Harry's. A drink has been concocted in his honour - it's called the Bankbreaker.

4) Crazy Elephant

This bar and restaurant is for die hard fans of blues. It offers live blues and rock ‘n’ roll bands.

5) Velvet Underground
